Johnson resigned his coaching position as the boys and girls tennis coach prior to the arrest Tuesday by the Acadia Parish Sheriff's department. Iota High coach Blaine Johnson, 31, was arrested Tuesday and charged with carnal knowledge of a female student in 2005 while an assistant football and assistant softball coach at Church Point High.
